Who is Holly G. Green?

Holly is the CEO and Managing Director of THE HUMAN FACTOR, Inc. Ms. Green has more than 20 years of executive level and operations experience in FORTUNE 100, entrepreneurial, and management consulting organizations. She was previously President of The Ken Blanchard Companies, a global consulting and training organization as well as LumMed, Inc. a biotech start up. She has a broad background in strategic planning, organization design and development, process improvement, and leadership assessment and development. She has been responsible for and successfully designed and built the necessary infrastructure in several organizations. Experiences include working as both an internal and an external resource for multinational corporations including The Coca-Cola Company, AT&T, Dell Computer, Bass Hotels & Resorts, QUALCOMM, Expedia, Inc., Celanese, RealNetworks, Inc., Microsoft and Google. Holly is known as someone who gets things done and has led turnarounds as well as hyper growth organizations.

With a proven track record of value-added delivery and as a sought-after speaker and consultant, she has received national recognition. Holly conducts more than 50 workshops annually for Vistage, the worlds’ largest CEO membership organization. She was recently awarded her second speaker of the year award. She is also a frequent keynote speaker for numerous corporate and professional associations. Her recently published top selling book, More Than A Minute: How To Be An Effective Leader & Manager In Today’s Changing World (Career Press, September 2008, www.MoreThanaMinute.com ) lends voice to her corporate experience and goes beyond the theory of leading and managing by providing practical action oriented information to those aspiring for greatness in business. Holly also recently co-founded the Management Development Institute, offering a comprehensive certificate program in management through San Diego State University.

Holly graduated Summa cum laude with her Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences and with Distinction with her Master of Science degree in organization development from American University in Washington, D.C. She also has her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Change Management and Total Quality Management certifications. She is currently on the staff at Webster University and teaches courses in the graduate program. Holly also teaches for the University of California San Diego, Rady School of Management in the executive education program and at the University of San Diego in the Leading Strategically program.

Holly is a board member of Total Training, Inc., KBM Facility Solutions, and serves on the Speaker Advisory Board for Vistage International. She is a member of the Corporate Director’s Forum and has served in numerous company and not for profit organizations. She is an active member of the Chairmen’s Roundtable, a nonprofit organization of senior executives providing pro bono strategic advice to mid-sized businesses and serves as a mentor in California State University’s Center for Leadership and Mentoring.

Michelle Finegan Saunders

Michelle’s passion and purpose is helping organizations achieve their goals by unlocking the full potential of their people. She works with senior management teams to evaluate and assess employees, identify the attitudes and behaviors getting in their way, and craft effective strategies for improving performance. She is especially skilled at turning marginal employees into high performers who go on to make substantial contributions to the organization’s success.

An experienced life and executive coach, Michelle blends 23 years of hands-on experience as a senior manager with the latest in personal development techniques to produce measurable, lasting results. Through a combination of team learning sessions, one-on-one coaching, and direct feedback, she enables senior executives to identify their blind spots, overcome their weaknesses, and develop the sophisticated leadership skills needed to compete in today’s markets.

Michelle has played a key role in helping companies like Amylin Pharmaceuticals and Questcor Pharmaceuticals design and implement programs that enable mid-level managers to develop the skills and competencies necessary to make the jump to the senior manager/VP level. In many cases, she has taken employees who had stalled in their careers and coached them into becoming stellar performers who rapidly advanced.

Prior to becoming an executive coach, Michelle spent 23 years as a senior marketing executive in the pharmaceutical industry, where she specialized in the neurology, Crohn’s, dermatology and hepatology markets. While working for companies such as Skinmedica, Inc., Prometheus Laboratories, and Elan Pharmaceuticals, she demonstrated a proven track record of results while employing strong strategic oversight and substantial problem solving skills.

As senior vice president for Skinmedica, Michelle was responsible for strategic oversight and marketing execution on all new product marketing for dermatology pharmaceutical products. As senior marketing director for Prometheus Labs, she had full responsibility for all products on the market, while helping to provide strategic vision for those under development.

During her tenure as a senior manager, Michelle excelled at developing market plans, forecasting, leveraging Phase IV studies, publication planning, and new product marketing from pre-clinical research to market approval. She also gained extensive experience managing and developing staff, including hiring, coaching, cross-training, and mentoring. The experience gained and the skills developed now play an important role in guiding and informing her executive coaching assignments.

Michelle teaches The New Power Couple: Sales and Marketing bringing students up to speed on how to connect with prospects and customers in today’s rapidly changing markets at the University of San Diego. She is also a guest speaker for USD’s business development course.

Michelle has completed more than 100 hours of coaching training at the Life Purpose Institute in San Diego, and continues to participate in advanced training courses to further her abilities. A member of the San Diego Professional Coaches Alliance, she also sits on the board for the Solana Beach chapter of the Women’s Alliance Network, and is an elite member of the National Association of Professional Women.
